....This weekend is Anderson Silva's Fight with Jushin 'Thunder' Okami...and may i say that can i be blunt here and say that we as fight fans really like Anderson...but we do really watch his fights to see him get beat!!!
I mean come on this man is like an MMA ninja only better in fact he is like one of those fabled Monks who meditate on the tops of mountains and learn to levitate through higher concessness!!
He IS really that good and has despached all who has been brought in front of him..
Whats really frustrating is the fact that he's such a bloody nice guy..
I mean he actually told Forrest Griffen "i'm sorry" while he was beating him to a pulp and making him look inferior(which he was that night,by the way!!)
He is always so humble in his victories but that fact is he does enough in the Octogon to win,,,
His opponents have to beat him.he will not let himself be beaten...
And for him to tap you would have to break his arms both legs and then maybe,just maybe he may tap...
Prediction
Do i think Silva will lose...
Maybe??
And, Only if Okami is on his game and fights THE best fight of his life and then adds a bit more!!!
Can Anderson be Beaten.....Yes!!

Yes, this a Spoiler but not really as Who the f**k Can beat him???
In fact he told us himself in a post match interview!!!
Yes thats right...the longest unbeaten Champion in MMA(not just UFC)
History,just told us that he could possibly be beaten by another human being.....I Moved a little closer to the screen as i could not miss this titbit..
Was Anderson calling someone out? Had someone pissed him off? or had he just had enough of being THE Pound for Pound(a tie with GSP if you ask me!!) Best fighter on the Planet???

And then he spoke... The only Fighter to challenge my crown says he, is......
"My Clone"!!!!!!!WTF!!!WTF!!!

Yes GSP IS the only one who would get anywhere close to beating Silva but why would he bother when he owns his Weight class and the weight between them is too far away when they walk into the ring!!
Catchweight i know but with a difference of nearly 20lbs and 3 inches in height i think it would be a pointless task for gsp as he has nothing to prove in my eyes and to me this fight would be just a cash cow and thats all...Gsp doesnt need the cash trust me!!!
The fight i would like to see would be a unification of silva's and Jones's belts..Now that would be a humdinger for sure!!!

Yes it's OK about the spoiler. Someone at work told me earlier today. No big surprise though, after all The Spider is pretty much unstoppable.
I remember last year though when we all said "who can ever beat Brock?" before Cain slapped seven shades out of him. I agree that GSP should not move up in weight class, or even challenge Anderson at catchweight, as Georges indeed dominates his class, and there's nothing wrong with having TWO kings. However, I see major progression in Jonny "Bones" Jones, and can definitely see him one day challenging Silva's superiority when he overcomes Rampage next month.
Notice how I said "when" he overcomes Rampage? I see this as nothing more than a vehicle for Jones's rise up the ranks to stardom, because
a) I have never really rated Jackson as a legitimate fighter, despite his successes, as he has underperformed more than once against mediocre competition, not least of all against "Deafhead" Matt Hamill a few months back.
b) Rampage has made no secret of the fact that he is only in this for the money, and as soon as acting starts paying more, he's gonna sell out to Hollywood. This is not the correct motivation for a legit fighter, and I feel it disrespects those dedicated to the sport, both fans and fellow fighters.
c) Jones is the most exciting fighter I have seen since Forrest Griffin, and in addition to his fighting spirit, he possesses both devastating knockout power, and "Mortal Kombat" style special moves which he can pluck from anywhere. Not to mention that spinning back elbow which is becoming his signature.

So the dream fight for me in the future, is Jon "Bones" Jones vs Anderson "The Spider" Silva.
Although Anderson is capable of raising his game to match and scrape a win when necessary, I wonder how he would match what Jones offers? If he can overcome that offense, then he really should give up MMA as nothing left to prove, and take to the streets wearing a mask and cape and become a real life super-avenger.

Zero crime rate anyone?

I must add to your comment about Brock dude that it was a dibilatating disease that beat Brock and Cain Was just in the right place at the right time and also i believe that Dana new Brock was done(for now we hope??)so he cashed in on the Latin fans who are maybe moving away from Boxing as it's only the Latins that are Holding Boxing together really!!
If that fight was say when Brock fought Couture then Brock would have handed Valaquez his Bus ticket home(Back to San Jose!!)

Yeah I am aware of Brock's condition, but did not realise it was affecting him so badly in the runup to his defence against Velasquez.
Bit lame of Dana though, if that's indeed what he did. Making a scapegoat of Brock seems a bit weak for a sport that's trying to take over the fight game. Politics and manoevreing should take a big fucking back seat on the same bus that Cain should have been on, to San Jose!
If Brock was legit ill, he should have surrendered the title and claimed a chance to regain it when he got better. Or even better, give some "Interim Tims" the chance to become interim champion and keep up the interest in the division, while Brock sat on the title during his rehab.
They did it for Randy, they should have done it for Brock also.

Rampage Vs Jones this weekend and Boy is this one going to be a doozie...
They have amped it up by laying into each other good and proper and Rampage has even accused Jones of planting a spy in his camp..
They really DO Not like each other and in my humble opinion Jackson is going to get his arse well and truely handed to him but i like em both so all i wish for is a good clean fight with no controversies in it(fucking boxing screwed up again this weekend didnt it..)What a farce!!
And also i have just seen apreview of the new Ultimate fighter show with Michael the count Bisbing and Jason Mayhem Miller as the coaches...This is going to be the best yet as these two also cant stand each other and miller is a joker and bisbing thinks hes a prick...very volatile from what ive seen and cant wait for that to start this weekend,which is nice...Again, i like both of these two as Miller hosted a show here called Bully Beatdown in which he was hillarious and bisbing is a bit of a twat but i ;like him anyways...Should be Awsome..

I like Bisping a lot, but I've not seen Jason Miller.
We don't get UFC on nesbit TV over here. We have to pay a tenner a month for ESPN which I'm not gonna do when I'm already forking out fifty sheets for Sky.
I will download the Jones vs Jackson show, and am hoping also for a clean fight with Bones emerging victorious.

Looks like Brocks lined up to make his comeback in December an all.

I dont know if you are familiar with Mr Overeem but he is a Master of the Dutch Muay Tuy Kickboxing so need i say any more...In his prime he was like Silva but fuckin Heavier and with fists of steel...
I saw this dood destroy Mark Colman in about 3minutes in Pride and there wasnt a scratch on Overeem..This should be a doozie dude and one i will look forward to with relish...Oh and i read it will be a 5 rounder,which means theres a belt on the line so it must be Overeems belt on the line?
Dana just likes Brock to wear a belt dude as i think he has a soft spot for him what with all he's gone through and he brought a lot of wrasslin fans over that have cash money to spend....Brock is a cash cow for UFC and that you can take to any bank but NOT a bank in Greece or Ireland as they dont have any dosh as they were weak europhiles that took the euro carrot without considering the consiquenses!!!!
