I just watched a trailer for the new Rambo movie, and it looks god damn amazing! Looks like there's plenty of visceral gore for us gorehounds. Check it out here www.youtube.com/watch?v=WxpUaLD6LhI

Looks pretty good. First Blood is one of my favourite films but the Rambo ones were pretty poor. Didn't know they were doing a Rambo 4.
Definitely bloody enough!

New movie Trailers and Upcoming film plots i have seen this year that are of interest....Part I...
Elysium Release Date: March 1, 2013 Studio: Sony Pictures Director: Neill Blomkamp Screenwriter: Neill Blomkamp Starring: Sharlto Copley, Matt Damon, Jodie Foster, Wagner Moura, Alice Braga Genre: Sci-Fi Plot Summary: The next film from "District 9" writer/director Neill Blomkamp is set in the far future on another planet and is filled with many sociopolitical ideas wrapped up inside a Hollywood action film.
My Thoughts..... Anything by Mr Blomkamp now has my interest....
Coriolanus Release Date: TBA 2011 Studio: The Weinstein Company Director: Ralph Fiennes Screenwriter: John Logan Starring: Ralph Fiennes, Gerard Butler, Vanessa Redgrave, Brian Cox, Jessica Chastain, James Nesbitt Genre: Drama, Thriller Plot Summary: Caius Martius 'Coriolanus' (Ralph Fiennes), a revered and feared Roman General is at odds with the city of Rome and his fellow citizens. Pushed by his controlling and ambitious mother Volumnia (Vanessa Redgrave) to seek the exalted and powerful position of Consul, he is loath to ingratiate himself with the masses whose votes he needs in order to secure the office. When the public refuses to support him, Coriolanus’s anger prompts a riot that culminates in his expulsion from Rome. The banished hero then allies himself with his sworn enemy Tullus Aufidius (Gerard Butler) to take his revenge on the city.
My Thoughts..... Gerard Butler in a Sword and Sandle epic has me salavating...
Total Recall Release Date: August 3, 2012 Studio: Columbia Pictures (Sony) Director: Len Wiseman Screenwriter: Kurt Wimmer, Mark Bomback, James Vanderbilt Starring: Colin Farrell, Bryan Cranston, Bill Nighy, Kate Beckinsale, Jessica Biel, John Cho Genre: Drama, Sci-Fi Plot Summary: "Total Recall" is a new, con-temporized reimagining of the science fiction saga. The short story "We Can Remember It for You Wholesale" by Philip K. Dick served as the source for the 1990 Motion Picture screenplay by Ronald Shusett & Dan O'Bannon and Gary Goldman, with the updated screenplay being written by Kurt Wimmer and Mark Bomback and James Vanderbilt.
My Thoughts...... Hmmm,I am not sure about this but with a nice cast and the fact its based on the short story more and not just a remake, sorry re working as they say these days, this should be one to watch....
Fright Night Release Date: August 19, 2011 (3D/2D theaters) Studio: DreamWorks Pictures Director: Craig Gillespie Screenwriter: Marti Noxon Starring: Anton Yelchin, Colin Farrell, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, David Tennant, Imogen Poots, Toni Collette Genre: Horror MPAA Rating: R (for bloody horror violence, and language including some sexual references) Plot Summary: Senior Charlie Brewster (Anton Yelchin) finally has it all going on: he's running with the popular crowd and dating the most coveted girl in his high school. In fact, he's so cool he’s even dissing his best friend. But trouble arrives when Jerry (Colin Farrell) moves in next door. He seems like a great guy at first, but there’s something not quite right—but everyone, including Charlie's mom (Toni Collette), doesn't notice. After observing some very strange activity, Charlie comes to an unmistakable conclusion: Jerry is a vampire preying on the neighborhood. Unable to convince anyone, Charlie has to find a way to get rid of the monster himself in this Craig Gillespie-helmed revamp of the comedy-horror classic.
My Thoughts..... Indeed a classic in my mind... This may be a Netflix purchase im afraid or at the best a Drive in watcher on a double bill..
No Blood, No Guts, No Glory Release Date: TBA Studio: Focus Features Director: Cary Fukunaga Screenwriter: Cary Fukunaga, Chase Palmer Starring: Not Available Genre: Action Plot Summary: A spy and 20 Union soldiers in disguise board a train in Georgia in order to pull off a heist that could bring a quick end to the Civil War. The project is a fictionalized account of America's first special forces operation, based on the real-life Civil War commando mission that inspired Buster Keaton's 'The General.'"
My Thoughts..... What an interesting premise... I like the sound of this one a lot...
Houdini Release Date: TBA Studio: Columbia Pictures (Sony) Director: Francis Lawrence Screenwriter: Scott Frank Starring: Not Available Genre: Biography, Drama
My Thoughts..... With a strong actor in te lead, this could be a sleeper hit..
Untitled Kathryn Bigelow Osama bin Laden Film Release Date: TBA 2012 Studio: Columbia Pictures (Sony) Director: Kathryn Bigelow Screenwriter: Mark Boal Starring: Joel Edgerton Genre: Action Plot Summary: The untitled film focuses on the black ops mission to capture or kill Osama bin Laden, which culminated in his death earlier this month during a high-stakes raid on his compound in Pakistan. Bigelow and Boal have been developing the project since 2008 and plan to incorporate recent events into the film.
My Thoughts...... F**kin hell, hes not even cold and theres a movie coming out... I hope this has Ray Stevenson and Steven Segal in it,hic!! Seriously though, this should be a doozie.. Oh and Sabbaton on the score please...
The Dark Knight Rises Release Date: July 20, 2012 Studio: Warner Bros. Pictures Director: Christopher Nolan Screenwriter: David Goyer, Jonathan Nolan Starring: Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman, Tom Hardy, Anne Hathaway, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Marion Cotillard, Juno Temple, Josh Pence, Daniel Sunjata, Nestor Carbonell, Matthew Modine, Tom Conti, Joey King, Brett Cullen, Chris Ellis Genre: Action, Adventure, Drama
Plot Summary: Christian Bale returns as Batman to battle Tom Hardy as Bane and Anne Hathaway as Catwoman - No plot details have been announced
My Thoughts..... Here we go,now this is the one i am waiting for....Until that is i read that Catwoman is in it but i'm sure Mr Nolan will do her right this time around... But on the plus side we have Bane...cool!!! (I always think of Vader when i think of Bane!!)

Tom Hardy as Bane though? He is well put together but by no means the beefcake physique required to play the Banester. Only one man is qualified to play Bane in my opinion, and he recently got a pasting at the hands of Cain Velasquez. But then again, Mr Nolan emphasises character over appearance, as evidenced by casting the late Heath as The Joker in the last Batters flick. I too was disheartened when I heard Catwoman was making an appearance in this movie. But again, with Nolan at the helm, this cannot fail.

Oh and this Has our Buddy the come back king Mr Roake in it too(which is nice!!)
