W00T W00T! Just pre-ordered my copy of the new Sabaton double live plus bonus DVD digibook - WORLD WAR LIVE: BATTLE OF THE BALTIC SEA. First Sabaton live album, and it looks like a beauty! Double discs recorded from various shows, plus a live DVD. Can't fuckin wait for that bad boy to arrive. In fact I could not wait that much that I stole it from a torrent site first, so I can get all involved before it lands on my doorstep some time next week. Here is a picture of the front cover. Very in keeping with the epic war metal theme. Let's talk some more about Sabaton, seeing as they fucking rule!

Indeed. I think we are in agreement with the pishness that are the "fun" tribute songs being the worst.
10. Metal Ripper 9. Midway 8. White Death 7. Wehrmacht 6. Saboteurs 5. Aces In Exile 4. Screaming Eagles 3. Coat Of Arms 2. The Final Solution 1. Uprising
Battle Of The Baltic Sea, the latest Schlagwaffen from the mighty Sabaton, should be "in mein hand" on Monday when it is released.

I guarantee it also. Soon as they begin Rise Of Evil, you will be limbering up to sing along with the chorus. Still, nothing beats standing amongst twenty thousand Germans all chanting "Start the Holocaust - The Reich will rise!". Something unsettling yet poetic and sinister yet natural about that experience.
Do me a favour and scream for Back In Control will you?

Indeed,if they dont do 'Back in Control' after ive shouted in me best English then i will have to make do with 'Final Solution','Uprising' and 'Wehrmach...along with 'Rise of Evil' And you Fn know the ARE going to do 'In the name of God' here in America!! If they Do 'Price of a Mile' i wont stop smiling for a f**kin week.. And Before Sabaton i will have just Watched the very Fine Nerd Metal that is Powerglove(which is nice!!)

Hmm, I listened to that Powerglove album, and whilst musically it is bloody fantastic, in the back of my mind I can't help thinking they are wasted doing covers of Flintstones and Inspector Gadget and Pokemon themes etc. Having said that, the Batman theme is outstanding, as is the one from The Nightmare Before Christmas. They would do well to concentrate solely on covering Danny Elfman numbers if they are insistent on not doing their own stuff.

I agree dude!!why dont they do theyre own material..they are waaay better than DRAGONPISH.. if they are going to stay doing themes then they should stick to the darker themes of Elfman and all things Horror and sci-fi....I would love them to do the JAWS theme...i would probebly need to exit the room and go to the toilet to wipe off afterwards it would be that good i'm sure!!
